A new kitchen has recently been fitted. The kitchen is provided with an electric hob and oven as well as the Aga and microwave. A wide range kitchen utensils are provided including multiple chopping boards, cooking knives and trivets. The kitchen is also provided with a fridge and dishwasher; a large fridge/freezer is in the utility room next to the sun-room. A washer/dryer is also available in the utility room and a rotary washing line is kept in the back porch for using in the front garden.

The sitting room has 2 large sofas and a rocking chair with a range of books, games and DVDs. There is a television and DVD player and a coal burning fireplace. Additional books are in the bookcase at the top of the main staircase.

The dining room is at the Eastern end of the house and has an attractive pointed stone wall, standard lamp, dresser as well as table and chairs.

The sun-room is the largest room in the modern extension and has a Southerly aspect with a view onto bird feeders, heather bed & garden. The back wall is the external wall of the original building. There is also a TV & DVD player; wooden-slatted blinds allow the TV to be used in daylight.
